A pharmaceutical-grade (USP) salicylic acid in fine white powder form. A beta hydroxy acid (BHA) with oil solubility, making it uniquely effective at penetrating into pores to exfoliate and clear congestion. Widely used in acne, oily skin, and scalp care formulations for its keratolytic, comedolytic, and mild antimicrobial properties.

The USP grade designation confirms purity to pharmaceutical standards. Oil soluble; typically dissolved in a solvent or alcohol phase before incorporation. Effective in both rinse-off and leave-on formats.
